How do you ship the product? Is signature required at delivery?

Deliveries normally take place Monday to Saturday between 8am and 7pm. Deliveries outside of Germany are mostly shipped via DHL. A signature is required, however the parcel can be left with a neighbour for residential addresses or at reception for business addresses if you are not at home or available at the time of delivery. You will then receive a card in your letter box from DHL notifying you of where the parcel has been left. If no one suitable can receive the parcel on your behalf then DHL will try a further two times. It is advisable to provide a contact
telephone number so that DHL can contact you in case of difficulties. 

 

How long does it take for out of stock products to be available again?

We do our best to keep up with demand but if a product is out of stock and not available to pre-order you can sign up to receive an email notification when your size becomes available by clicking on the size you want. Please note that seasonal products may not be reproduced.
How long does it take to deliver my order? Silk accessories that are available to ship immediate deliveries take up to 3 working days. If you live in a rural area, please remember it can take the courier a bit longer to deliver to you. You will be able to track the progress of your order with the tracking number provided to you in the shipping confirmation email. Certain products can be pre-ordered online. The production of our ties takes 8 to 9 weeks.

 

How much does the delivery cost?

Shipping is calculated per order and within the United Kingdom it costs £6.50. 

 

My package was damaged in transit! What to do? 

This can unfortunately occur from time to time. Please check that all the contents of your order are still intact and undamaged. 

 

My parcel is being stored at the sorting office and I wasn't able to pick it up within the time specified. What happens next?

The post office stores your parcel for you for up to 7 working days. If you do not pick up your order within this time, the post office sends the order back to us. We will, of course, reship your order to you as soon we receive it but additional shipping costs will apply.

 

What are pre-orders? And why should I pre-order?

Due to high demand for our merchandise it is often sold out quickly. We are trying our best to keep up with demand, but if a product is out of stock you do have the possibility to pre-order certain styles. The production process of our fine silk accessories takes between 8 to 10
weeks and the shipment takes an additional week. 

 

What happens if the tracking number provided does not work?

If a parcel has just been shipped tracking numbers can take up to 8 hours to be active. If, after this time, you are still seeing an error message, please contact us at: service@farabeo.com.
